Ms. Shobna Chandran – Man
 aging Director, Shobna Chandran LLC\n
Upon graduation with a close to perfe
 ct academic record, Shobna was a Justices Law Clerk to the Chief Justice an
 d the Court of Appeal bench until 2008. Shobna has worked with at least 3 S
 enior Counsel over her 15-year career. She thrives in appellate advocacy an
 d high stakes cross border commercial disputes. Shobna has successfully arg
 ued cases and won all the way up to the Court of Appeal against Senior Coun
 sel. Notably, she has acted as lead counsel on more than 6 appeal matters i
 n the span of the last 2 years. On the arbitration front, Shobna has spent 
 her entire career doing international arbitration, having handled arbitrati
 on matters in excess of billion dollars. She is currently a fellow of the S
 ingapore Institute of Arbitrators. Her cases range from telecommunications 
 to pharmaceutical industry to solar/renewable energy, shareholder disputes 
 and banking and finance related disputes. The jurisdictions involve include
  Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, India, USA and Africa

Chen Siyuan is one of the associate
  deans at the SMU Yong Pung How School of Law. A graduate of NUS and Harvar
 d, he specialises in evidence and procedure, having produced more than a hu
 ndred publications on those areas including in journals such as the Civil J
 ustice Quarterly and International Journal of Evidence &amp; Proof. His wor
 ks, especially his books on evidence and procedure, have been cited by the 
 Singapore and Indian courts, as well as the UK Law Commission. Siyuan has a
 lso been a Professorial Fellow at the AGC since 2018 and directs the intern
 ational moots programme at SMU, which has seen SMU mooters feature regularl
 y in the world championship rounds of major competitions such as the Jessup
  and Vis.\n

Mr. Gregory Vijayendran SC – 
 Vice President, Asia Pacific Institute of Experts; Partner, Dispute Resolut
 ion, Rajah &amp; Tan LLP \n
Gregory’s present practice encompasses a specia
 lization in banking and corporate insolvency as well as litigation, arbitra
 tion and mediation of commercial disputes and chancery matters. He is also 
 a recognised expert in charities governance and has given expert witness te
 stimony for overseas court proceedings. Gregory graduated from the National
  University of Singapore in 1992, was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1993
  and joined Rajah &amp; Tann LLP after being in practice in two other leadi
 ng law firms for 15 years (jointly heading the Banking and Insolvency Litig
 ation Practice group of another leading law firm). Gregory was appointed Se
 nior Counsel in 2019. Gregory was the longest serving President of the Law 
 Society from 2017-2021. He has also been appointed as a Fellow of the Insol
 vency Practitioners Association of Singapore, the Singapore Institute of Ar
 bitrators and the Singapore Institute of Directors.\n
